Privacy Policy
How information from a demolition enquiry is collected, used, shared and stopped. Written to be read rather than skimmed past.
If we miss your call, our automated assistant may text you to continue your service enquiry. Your details may be shared with a suitable independent local provider so they can contact you about the job. See our Privacy Policy.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Demolition Gold Coast, a demolition enquiry and referral service operating in the Gold Coast, Queensland. Demolition Gold Coast is a Gold Coast demolition enquiry and referral service. The independent provider is responsible for its own licences, insurance, quoting, scheduling and the work performed.
2. What triggers collection
Collection starts when you call us. This website has no enquiry form, quote form, callback request, booking calendar, email capture, live chat, WhatsApp or Messenger funnel. Browsing the site does not submit anything, because there is nothing to submit.
3. What we collect during a demolition enquiry
Only what an independent provider genuinely needs to contact you and assess the job:
- Your name and a callback number
- The suburb or postcode of the property
- The project type — house, commercial, strip-out, partial, pool, or an asbestos concern
- A concise job description and the structure or property type
- Approximate scope or size, where you know it
- Your desired timeframe and preferred contact time
- Site access constraints
- Whether hazardous materials such as asbestos are known or suspected — recorded as what you told us, never as a diagnosis
- Whether photos are available for a later provider conversation
- The state of the referral disclosure and your response to it
We do not ask for dates of birth, financial or payment details, identity documents, health information or any other sensitive information for an ordinary demolition enquiry. If anyone claiming to represent Demolition Gold Coast asks you for those, it is not us.
4. Missed-call SMS follow-up
If we miss your call, our automated assistant may text you to continue your service enquiry.
- It is only ever triggered by a call you made to us first. We do not send unsolicited marketing texts.
- The message identifies itself as an automated assistant and identifies the brand.
- Its purpose is to continue a service enquiry you started, not to market to you.
- It asks one concise question at a time and stops when a provider has enough to assess the job.
- It will not quote a price, promise provider availability, claim licences, diagnose asbestos or assess structural safety.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Opt-outs are actioned immediately and the conversation stops.
Where an SMS or communications vendor is used to deliver these messages, that vendor processes the message content and your number in order to deliver it. The specific vendor is disclosed here once it is configured and verified.
5. Sharing with an independent provider
Your enquiry may be shared with a suitable independent local provider so they can contact you about availability, pricing and the work.
Only the information reasonably necessary to contact you and assess the enquiry is shared. The provider is a separate business and becomes responsible for its own handling of your information from that point, under its own privacy obligations. Provider identity, internal routing logic, acceptance rules and any commercial arrangement between us and a provider are not published, but the fact that a referral may occur always is — that is what this section exists for.
6. Call recording
Call recording is not enabled. If it is ever enabled it will be separately disclosed and notified before or at the start of a call, in accordance with the applicable requirements. It will not be turned on quietly.
7. Analytics and call tracking
This site records which call-to-action a phone click came from, so we can tell which pages are useful. The attributes recorded are the placement on the page, the page type, the service and the location — for example "above-fold, service page, house demolition, Southport".
- No personal information is placed in analytics events.
- No customer details are ever placed in a page URL or a query string.
- Call attribution measures the page, not the person.
8. Retention
Enquiry records and any assistant transcript are retained only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, manage the referral and meet applicable record-keeping obligations, then deleted under the retention policy. Specific retention periods are published here once the operating configuration is verified.
9. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what information is held about your enquiry, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it not to be shared with a provider, or ask for it to be deleted. Call us to make any of those requests. The published privacy contact point is added here once verified business identity is supplied.

10. Australian privacy context
This policy is written to be reviewed against the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply, the Spam Act 2003 in relation to electronic messages, and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006. It draws a deliberate distinction between service-related follow-up on an enquiry you initiated and later marketing, which would require separate consent. This page is implementation guidance and is not legal advice; it should be reviewed by a qualified professional before the site is published.
11. Overseas processing
Where a communications, SMS or CRM vendor processes information outside Australia, that is disclosed here once the vendors are configured and verified.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy is updated when the operating model, the vendors or the verified business identity change. The last-reviewed date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
